Three Fast Cars You Should Drive Before You Die
Features
Americans have the “bucket list” we here at DCB have the “die before you drive list” and these are our favorite fast cars of the moment. 1. Pagani Huayra Pagani-Huayra-Sideways This £1.3 million dollar ballistic missile replaced  the Zonda in 2012, McLaren may have the P1 Hypercar, but for us the Huayra is the old school hypercar to drive thanks to its AMG sourced 6.0-litre V12 engine which packs a 720-bhp punch and demolishes the 0-60 bhp time in just 3.3 seconds. The Huayra’s looks define it, the P1 can probably wipe the floor but a hybrid-hyper car? We’ll take the Pagani you can save the world. 2. Lycan Hypersport Lycan-Hypersport The middle east is acknowledged as being the cradle of civilisation. Today its know for pan-regional conflicts and brutal dictators. But if you are going to drive any car, make sure it is one of the most expensive of the day. Lebanese based W Motors have created the Lykan Hypersport, at $3.4 million dollars its the third most expensive car, in any category, to be made. only the Lamborghini Veneno and Maybach Exelero are more expensive. W Motors plans to make just 7 examples. It uses a Porsche sourced 3.7 litre flat-six engine and that means 740-bhp, 960-Nm of torque, a 0-62 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 240 mph. There aren’t any roads in the world capable enough to drive this flat out, only the vast flat deserts of Arabia. Just watch out for Isil. 3. Koenigsegg Agera One:1 Koenigsegg-Agera-1-1 Swedish Hypercar maker, Koenigsegg, need no introduction, the Swedes may be the laid back version of the Caribbean nation, but an icy chill runs through the Koenigsegg Agera One:1 a mid-engined hypercar with neck snapping looks and performance too match. The Agera One:1 uses an in-house developed 5.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine which has been tuned to deliver 1,341-bhp and 1371 -Nm of torque which is enough to set of volcanoes. The Agera One:1 can accelerate from 0-62-mph in 2.5 seconds and hit a claimed top speed of 273-mph. Only six Agera One:1 examples will ever be built and all have found new homes and owner’s who are clearly willing to part company with the $2 million dollar asking price. Of course there are also other Hypercars to consider such as the Bugatti Veyron Supersport, Lamborghini’s and so on, however the latter have backing of corporate giants with deep pockets whereas our choice come from small players who produce big results and that’s why we have made the above choice.  Pagani-Huayra
