Its known as the worlds fastest accelerating, street legal electric car and its called the White Zombie.
The tough guy image of the White Zombie is in fact a 1972 Datsun 1200, its owner has removed the combustion engine and replaced it with a full electric powerplant which generates over 500bhp.
And that’s enough power to take on a Nissan GT-R and beat the hell out of it on a drag strip.
White Zombie’s creator, self styled “Plasma Boy” is actually a middle aged tech junkie, John Wayland, who is also out to save the planet.
Wayland use’s the same batteries as the Apache Attack helicopter, the second clip shows how he came up with the idea.
