The top of the range Sport Nav will add LED headlamps and daytime running lights and a new head-updisplay which integrates the sat-nav system, similar to BMW’s head-up-display system.
Rear Smart City Brake Support (Rr SCBS) is offered as an option, the system functions at speeds of around 2 and 5mph and when reversing, the brakes are automatically applied if the system detects an imminent rear impact.
Other safety assists include Lane-keep Assist, Driver Alert and Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring.
The refreshed 2015 Mazda 6 is all about interior equipment and trim enhancements, it will also include minor enhancements to the exterior which includes a re-styled front – new grille and signature wing design.
Expect the Mazda 6 to be available in Q1 2015, pricing is expected to mirror the current range.
