The All New 2015 Mini Clubman
Auto News
OK we were on a team building day out when news of the new Mini Clubman broke. Actually we were in the pub playing darts. We were actually playing Fifa 15 but this is the new Mini Clubman and its a thumbs up from us here at DCB Towers. Essentially its a Mini Estate but clever marketing ensures you will know it as the Clubman. When the new Clubman launches in the Autunm no less than three derivatives will be offered, the Copper Clubman, Cooper D Clubman and the Cooper S Clubman. Mini-Clubman-2015-Dash The engines will range from the 136bhp, 3-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol up to the 189bhp 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo and of course the 2.0-litre diesel. Emissions will be as low as 109g/km and each car can be specified with a 6 speed manual or the optional 6 or 8-speed auto. Mini-Clubman-2015-Rear The front-wheel drive Clubman shares the same chassis as the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and not only is it longer and wider than the previous generation Clubman its also bigger than the current generation Mini. The Clubman retains the barn-style doors that gives it such a unique selling point and the interior gets its own styling identity, although the  centrally mounted instrument binnacle is retained. Mini-Clubman-2015-Front Many options will be available but typically Mini bundle the most popular together and offer it as being more value for money, so be prepared to choose between the ‘Chilli Pack’ or ‘Pepper Pack’. Top Gear slammed the previous Clubman’s driving dynamics as being the “worst car you can buy right now” but Mini insists Clubman mkII will be a better all round drive. The new Mini Clubman will go on sale in the UK by 21st October 2015.  Mini-Clubman-2015-Profile
