We’ve gone a bit Ford stir crazy, what with the Shelby Marstang and now this Ford GT in kick-ass widebody definition. And what ever you think about the widebody, with its riveted flared-fenders we reckon it looks OK on the GT.

But don’t worry this is only a concept rendering from the Photoshop mastermind that is Khyzyl Saleem. Saleem is a concept artist for EA Games during the day, by night he is producing these brilliant concepts. Naturally he is a car nut.

The Ford GT is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 which produces 600bhp, has a 0-62mph time of 3.0 seconds and can reach a top speed of something miles per hour.

Ford plans to build only 250 examples of the GT over a seven year time frame with each unit expected to retail expensively.

The carbon-fiber bodied GT will feature formula one derived pushrod suspension, active suspension and dihedral (butterfly) doors.

The Ford GT is expected to purchased by a new elite of spoiled 16 year old rich kids.
