Lamborghini Reveal The Huracan Spyder
Auto News
This is what Lamborghini got up to at the Frankfurt Motorshow yesterdy, that’s the 14th Septemeber 2015 if you are reading this sometime in the future. To get to the point Lamborghini revealed the convertible version of the Huracan. Or as Lamborghini officially call it the Huracan LP610-4 Spyder. Lamborghini-Huracan-Spyder-Roof Whenever you remove the roof from any car, for the purposes of posing with the roof down, the cars sub-structure looses its residual integrity and therefore handling performance. Lamborghini-Huracan-Spyder-Rear Lamborghini have addressed this issue by making the Huracan Spyder 40 percent stiffer than the Gallardo Spyder ever was. The Huracan Spyder will use a good old fashioned 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated V10 engine which shovels out 602bhp and 560Nm of torque. Lamborghini-Huracan-Spyder-Interior With all that extra stiffing the Huracan Spyder’s dry weight increases to a rather portly 1,542kg. It doesn’t seem to hamper the performance too much as the Spyder has a 0-62mph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 202mph. Lamborghini-Huracan-Spyder-Front But the most important feature of all the folding soft-top roof is spirited away and housed in the rear buttresses in around 17 seconds and can do so at speeds of upto 30mph. The Lambo Huracan Spyder will go on sale in the UK by Spring 2016 and will cost around £205,000 GBP. Ouch!  Lamborghini-Huracan-Spyder-Profile
