The Jaguar F-TYPE British Design Edition will be available in Coupé and Convertible body styles. Power will be provided by a 380PS/ 460Nm supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine which is accessed by a eight-speed Quickshift transmission, all-wheel drive is standard.
Its all about visual enhancements which begins with a choice of special edition colours ranging from Caldera Red, Glacier White and – new to the F-TYPE range – Ultra Blue and Ultimate Black. But curiously no British Racing Green.
F-TYPE Sport Design Pack. Optional on the S model, is standard equipment on the F-Type British Design Edition and comprises a gloss black front splitter, body-coloured side sill extensions and rear venturi – a fixed rear spoiler is also available for the Coupé.
The 20-inch Cyclone wheels with Satin Dark Grey finish are unique to the British Design Edition and British Design Edition centre caps are available as an accessory fit.
The brakes have also been uprated featuring “Jaguar Super Performance Brake system”. The calipers are finished in red, with black available as an option.
New badges for the front grille and the tailgate infuse the Union Jack detailing in a subtle monochrome finish.
The interior doesn’t get any special edition make over save for an enhanced speaker system and slightly better in-car connectivity like the InControl Remote App.
Now also available for the Apple Watch InControl enables remote fuel level check, lock/ unlock and even remote engine starts.
The F-Type British Design Edition is available to order in the UK with a £75,225 for asking price for the Coupe version, and £80,390 for Convertible.
