To be fair this is a one sided drag race that appears to have been filmed on the spur of a spare moment. The Concept One is a 1000bhp + electric hypercar and its opponent is just a bog standard Ferrari 458 Spider with it’s old school V8 generating a puny 570bhp.
But it’s the instant torque of the electric Concept One that is quite literally electric. From a standstill the Ferrari is made to look foolish.
The 458 Spider generates maximum torque at around 5,700rpm whereas with the Concept One the torque is instant.
Who would have thought an electric powered hypercar would be so much more wild. The Ferrari looks civilised by comparison.
