Think of this as a new styling make over which fuses the heritage of the very first Mini, the 1959 Mini Seven, with a ruthlessly efficient, 21st century marketing campaign. So what does the Mini Seven do that any other Mini doesn’t? Not that much, indeed it doesn’t really attempt to re-write the Mini rule book because the rule book was written many decades ago. Therefore the Mini Seven is a styling exercise and this styling exercise includes a handful of new exterior paint finishes such as Lapisluxury Blue. Which is the kind of name you get when the brainstorming session happened in the local pub after many, many pints of beer with everyone exclaiming “your’e my best mate” to one another. Three other body finishes from the MINI paint range are also available to choose from; Pepper White, Midnight Black and British Racing Green. And in true Mini tradition you also get bonnet stripes in ‘melting silver’ with surround in matt brown. A Melting Silver roof and exterior mirror caps come as standard. The Mini Seven logo as well as 17-inch light alloy wheels in exclusive Mini Seven Spoke two-tone design complete the exterior look. The Mini Seven interior will include sports seats in the fabric/leather finish Diamond Malt Brown tartan look. To remind you what you are really buying into the Mini Seven logo is featured on the central instrument binnacle. The 6.5’’ colour display is standard and includes Mini Connected, Bluetooth Handsfree with USB audio, floor mats, MINI Excitement Pack, automatic dual-zone air conditioning and storage compartment pack. The Mini Seven Chili pack offers suckers potential buyers with features such as the Lounge Leather Upholstery in Carbon Black and a Steering Wheel in Walk Nappa leather with a waxed hand stitched seem. LED headlights, multifunction controls for the steering wheel and cruise control with brake function are optional extras.
