Skoda Confirms That The Kodiaq Has An Interior
Auto News
Skoda’s slow, slow reveal of their new seven seat Kodiaq SUV has been as torturous as being forced to watch paint dry at gun point. In America you would have been shot by now but Skoda have at least decided to reveal interior shots of the said Kodiaq. The interior follows pretty much Skoda’s current design language, simple, a little subdued and clean. The Kodiaq will share the same MQB platform as the VW Tiguan and Seat Ateca however it will be longer than both the latter in order to house that extra row of seats. Skoda-Kodiaq-Kodiak-Interior The estimated price point is expected to be in the region of £24k – £25k GBP. The Kodiaq will feature a familiar range of VW stock engines so don’t expect any surprises.   Technology will be boosted with the addition of a heads-up display and digital instrument binnacle and rumours suggest a hybrid model variant is in the works. Skoda-Kodiaq-Rear-Boot Interestingly the Kodiaq is expected to derive most of its sales in China where Skoda is planning to focus much of its sales and marketing activity. With a volume of 720-Litres to 2,065-Litres (with rear seats folded), the five-seater ŠKODA KODIAQ offers the largest boot in its class. Options will include heated steering wheel and door edge protection, electric child safety locks and sleep headrests. The new Kodiaq  will have it premiere in Berlin on 1 September 2016. ŠKODA will be broadcasting the impressive production of film, music and choreography live on the Internet from 19:00 CEST. You can follow the 45-minute vehicle presentation via live stream. The media also have the opportunity to broadcast the transmission via embed code on their own channels.
