A group of Ford Focus R owners plan a weekend meetup to see who’s the fairest drifter of them all, somewhere in jerk water USA, probably on the outskirts of New York. Ford have loaded the Focus RS with a drift mode enabling the average yokel to drift like a king.
The only issue is even with drift mode enabled you still need to take into account the speed, the angle of the bend and the braking zone.
If you go too fast you go too fast and not even the software, differential or ABS are enough to counter the forces of stupidity, as the owner of the Focus RS in this video found out.
As a result the Focus RS takes too much speed into the corner and slams into the face of the hillside. At least he now knows the airbags deployed as intended.
