The SEMA show is now full on open, its been going strong since 1963 and is now established as the automotive aftermarket parts and accessories show you need to attend.  While these type of shows are glossy and full of over the top, over engineered, over styled exotic cars the show does serve a purpose. Held at Las Vegas the show is designed to sell products to aftermarket junkies who want to make their Toyota Corrolla look like Ferrari. With the new generation of YouTubers the show has come into the mainstream, and draws in backpackers like Evan Shanks who gives us, therefor you, a small insight into the show. For the most popular YouTubers SEMA is the place to be seen and the place to muscle in on those networking opportunities. We would rather be shot than have to network. Thankfully we are neither popular nor particularly well known as Martine Varrall can attest to. Networking is the work of Lucifer, but hey were going of topic yet again. The SEMA show, the place for internet nerds who want to show off their new backpacks full of pre-prepared sandwiches. One thing to note is that Evan Shanks needs buy a camera with better image stabilisation… And better multi focusing. But it should never be about the hardware, for YouTubers it’s all about the content and personality people!
