2017 Detroit Auto Show: A First Look At The New Toyota Camry
Video
We can’t remember a time when we ever got excited about the Toyota Camry. Perhaps it’s ode to the ordinary is part of it’s legendary appeal. In the US the Camry was the best selling passenger car from 1997 to 2015. This sales success in the US isn’t mirrored in the company’s home market of Japan where sales have been lacklustre. However with the recent inclusion of the Hybrid Synergy Drive Camry sales have picked up. In Europe racist buyers prefer European brands, thus the Camry doesn’t sell in large volumes. So time has come to significantly update the ordinary into something more appealing. And it looks, visually at least that Toyota have borrowed elements of the Lexus LS design language. That means the new LS, when it is eventually replaced, will look radically different from the current incarnation. Watch Auto Guide’s preview of the new look Camry at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, and remember try not to fall asleep.  toyota-camry
