We never liked the look of the Porsche Panamera and we still believe it isn’t a proper Porsche. Perhaps we are stuck in the last century and it’s time to move on. The Panamera Sport Turismo allows us to move on into a bright new future and it’s probably the nicest looking Porsche other than the current gen 911. The Panamera Sport Turismo is essentially an estate version of the Panamera proper, we prefer shooting brake because it sounds more exotic… It looks good. With a lower boot lip and 20 litres of extra cargo space the Panamera Sport Turismo is designed to give more flexibility and practicality to Panamera ownership aspirations… It looks good. The Panamera Sport Turismo was first seen as a concept in 2012 in some generic motorhow launch, it’s taken until now, 2017, for the car to reach full blown production status… It looks good. Mitja Borket who styled the Mission E Concept and is now head of design for Lamborghini is the genius who styled the Panamera Sport Turismo… It. Looks. Good. You cans see the visual differences between the boring standard Panamera, the rear end styling of the Sport Turismo… looks good, damn good. The transformer like active rear spoiler that debuted in the second gen Panamera has found its way into the Sport Turismo. The active rear spoiler deploys depending on the driving settings and speed, at over 106mph it will deploy at an angle to 1 degrees, with the sunroof open it will deploy at 26 degrees to reduce interior wind noise. The Panamera Sport Turismo will be be available in five specs and will carry over the same engine line up as the current Panamera. This will include the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid and the top of the range Turbo with the full force of the 542bhp, v8 twin-turbo engine. There will also be one diesel, the V8, 4.0-litre, 418bhp Panamera 4S Diesel. The Panamera Sport Turismo is expected to retail in Europe from €97,557 to €158,604.
