Brother Shmee150, as usual, gets an exclusive up close and personal view of the Mercedes Project One super-hypercar. He does the work so we don’t have… so we don’t have to go the expense of travelling, recording, uploading, repeat.

The project One super-hypercar is derived from Mercedes’ F1 machine and technology, indeed the 1.6-litre, V6 hybrid-turbo is lifted straight out of Lewis Hamilton’s current F1 car.

Project One also includes F1 KERS technology which stores kinetic energy and releases it as an electrical charge to boost acceleration.

The roof has an air intake and the rear has an F1 style shark fin that aids aerodynamic stability and downforce by channelling a smoother flow of air.

Project One promises to be fast with over 1,000 bhp, a 0-124mph time of 6 seconds and a top speed of 217mph it also has a claimed electric range of 16 miles.

Only 275 Project Ones will ever be built with just 20 units allocated for the UK. Rarity and exclusivity mean Project One will only increase in value even after just a few months.
