Gary from Smile Car Finance gave us a quick overview of the car saying that ‘This car is the definition of reliable, it is capable of withstanding any weather condition, very rarely lets you down in the performance department.’
Jeep has not played it completely safe though – the brand has announced its bold decision to offer the Wrangler with a plug-in hybrid option. Whilst this is no longer a ground-breaking step in the automotive world, for a company such as Jeep, which has a reputation for large engines with horrendous emissions, this is quite a leap.
Although, it is a leap in the right direction in terms of protecting the environment and reducing fuel bills, and it could be the change that eco-friendly motorists wanted from Jeep.
Previous models have offered various trim levels and copious amounts of extras for customers to choose from and the all-new Wrangler is no exception. With up to nine trim options and an abundance of optional extras, hours can be spent designing your perfect car using the website configurator.
The base model 2-door Wrangler Sport starts at $25,000, a reasonable price for a car with such exceptional off-road capabilities, build quality, generous standard features and iconic appearance. On the other end of the scale is the 4-door Wrangler Rubicon Recon. This model comes in at $44,000. For this premium, you’re treated to luxuries such as remote start, an increased maximum towing weight of 3500 lbs, a military-inspired front axle and cast differential covers.
