How To Drive A Supercar Without Ending In A Ditch
Features
At some point in your life, you may be lucky enough to drive or even own a supercar. The supercar market tends to attract both purists and pleasure-seekers.  The purists are looking for the type of precision and excellence that you can find in Ferraris, whereas pleasure-seekers are looking for the sense of luxury that can be found in a Bentley or Mercedes. Choose your car accordingly whether you are renting it from the likes of PureDrive Luxury Car Hire or buying it outright. However, before you get behind the wheel, you first need to understand that this is not going to be the same as driving your average automobile. So, here are a few tips to ensure that your supercar experience is a great one. Remember the Lesser Cars Around You Though you may be driving in a high-performance vehicle, don’t forget that the majority of cars around you are Toyota Aygos and Ford Fiestas. You may be able to come to a dead stop when you tickle the brakes, but the truck at your rear cannot. Feel out the car from the beginning and get used to its handling and features before you take it out onto the open road. Take Your Eyes Off the Hood You will notice that your view of the road is very different when you are a supercar compared to your average SUV or hatchback. It can be tempting to get fixated on the hood in front of you, staring at the Lamborghini logo in front of you, but you need to remember to look ahead to better anticipate the movement of traffic ahead. Horsepower Awareness If you are not used to driving a car with this amount of sheer power, you need to avoid rapidly taking corners and other sharp bends. The fact that you can achieve top speed in such as short space of time is an incredible novelty, but, to quote the advice given to Spiderman: “with great power comes great responsibility”. Suspension Levels The suspension of your car is so important when it comes to your comfort whilst driving. If you want to go for a safe option, aim for firm suspension and good grip on the road. Otherwise, you will end up feeling every bump along the road. Know Where the Nearest Dealer Is If you are lucky enough to be in the market for a supercar, you need to know where your nearest dealer is located for the times that things go wrong. The last thing that you want is your car to go wrong and you have no access to get it repaired quickly and effectively. So, whether you are just about to drive a supercar for the first time or you are in the market to buy one, make sure you know what you are letting yourself in for to avoid getting into a potentially sticky situation.  The-Grand-Tour-Supercar-Tips-Dailycarblog
