Renault Zoe Is Now More Powerful And Is Now The Lesser of Two Evils
Auto News
In the interest of balance and fairness, we are obliged to report on all car news and manufactures, the exception being Land Rover for reasons we shall outline at a later date. As much as it pains us to do so we are so obliged to inform you about the Renault Zoe, it’s Renaults all-electric city car with a range of around 186 miles. First introduced in 2013 the Zoe has sold over 50,000 units and now it’s time for Renault to introduce some upgrades. The biggest change is the introduction of an 80kW electric motor which replaces the 20kW motor. More power doesn’t necessarily equate to more power, the Zoe retains a real-world range of 186 miles. Do not believe this claim, manufacturers always overstate (lie) about fuel economy figures and mpg rates and the same is true for electric cars. That means you the consumer can technically sue auto manufacturers for misleading you for not accurately stating the true figures. Renault-Zoe-Interior-More-Power-Dailycarblog The Zoe’s power output is now 110bhp, a 16bhp increase and 225Nm torque is available instantly, which means no turbo lag and instant speed. The Zoe is available in two trim levels and you can expect to find adequate levels of equipment, entry-level models include LED daytime-running lights Sat-Nav, electric windows, climate control etc. If you want leather / heated seats with Bose Audio surround, that, of course, will be a trim level above and more money, more money, more money. The Renault Zoe retails from £18k for entry-level models and up to £27k for top of the range models. You should consider the Zoe over all other Renaults because at least you will be safe in the knowledge that the car will be reliable, why? Because Renault turbo engines always fail.  Renault-Zoe-More-Power-Dailycarblog
