Regrettably, our editorial mandate says we must provide fair and balanced coverage. However like all media organisations (at least we like to think of ourselves as a media organisation) we have to provide said fair and balanced coverage regularly. The problem is that like all media organisations with bonafide journalistic standards we don’t have nor do we follow any journalistic standards or best practices. Therefore, our lack of ethics, and pretending to uphold the core values and tenants of journalism actually makes us bonafide journalists.

And that brings us to the Renault Kadjar. Personally, I wouldn’t buy one and I suggest you (whoever is reading this) you do not buy a Renault Kadjar. My personal experience with Renault, as a former owner, has never recovered. Because my Renault(s) never recovered mechanically. But we have to provide fair and balanced coverage. The Renault Kadjar SUV is updated for 2018. Standard equipment includes a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen, LED daytime running lights, rear parking sensors, automatic lights and wipers, and front fog lights on every model. Nice. The model range is made up of four versions with the introduction of a new Kadjar S-Edition. Nice. New Kadjar has a four-engine line-up. The new  TCe 140 and TCe 160 4-cylinder petrol engines were developed by the crumbling Alliance in cooperation with Daimler. The new Blue dCi diesel engine in 115hp and 150hp forms, gains enhanced power whilst offering reduced emissions. The TCe 140 and dCi 115 power units are available with a choice of a six-speed manual or a seven-speed EDC automatic gearbox, while the TCe 160 is available with a manual gearbox. At a later date, the dCi 150 engine will be available, exclusively in manual gearbox configuration, and with a choice of two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Kadjar S-Edition and Kadjar GT Line have all-new LED lights at the front with a development of Renault’s C-shape light signature. The cabin of the New Kadjar features a more contemporary design and improvements in perceived quality. A new control system for the air conditioning features a more modern and ergonomic design with the temperature and ventilation settings displayed in the centre of three thumbwheels for a clear and intuitive user experience. In addition, the New Kadjar is available in three new colours: Oural Green and Highland Grey and, on the S-Edition and GT Line models, Iron Blue. The entry level Kadjar retails for £20, the top spec leather lined interior of the Kadjar GT Line starts at £25k before options. Orders open from 3^rd January 2019, and deliveries commence in February 2019.
