Yesterday evening (UK time, the day before today) images of the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe leaked online. Whoever the leaker was, perhaps BMW PR or a genuine leaker, they wasted their time. There was genuinely nothing to see. Indeed trust us when we say this the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe looks hideous. It looks so bad we decided to ban displaying any images of it on this website.

Of course, curiosity will lead you to look elsewhere but don’t say we didn’t warn you. The 2 Series has a rival, the Mercedes CLA. Honestly, the CLA looks better, but even we have to admit the Beemer will have a better-built interior.

But to hell with the interior differences, if we had the choice between taking the CLA or the 2 Series Gran Coupe we wouldn’t take the dog we’d go for the Mercedes. The 2 Series Gran Coupe will go on sale in 2020 starting at £25k.
