This is the Kia Concept EV9, an ultra-modern distillation of a yet unseen, little-known about all-electric SUV. Kia is working on something in the background and the EV9 is a conceptual appetizer for a next-gen all-electric SUV. Ultra-modern design, what does that mean? Ultra-modern design tends to age faster than contemporary design. The latter is just an opinion.

It is a pity we can not see much of the ultra-modern design because most of it is hidden away by CGI shadows. Obviously, Kia wants to capture as much publicity as possible, a slow reveal over several days is a good marketing ploy for sure.

The exterior design exhibits sharp creases and flared wheel arches along the flanks, almost origami-inspired. The Kia Concept EV9 cabin is honed to give the driver and passengers a light, flexible and adaptive interior space.

The Kia Concept EV9 will be unveiled on 17 November at the LA Convention Center.
