Yep, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage will return to the fold clothed in the latest form factor that is the 2021 Vantage. The previous-gen V12 Vantage was discontinued in 2018 and somehow Aston Martin’s engineers managed to stuff a Ford-derived 5.9-litre, naturally aspirated 621bhp V12 into the engine bay.
The source of power for the new, yet to be fully revealed, V12 Vantage will come from Mercedes Benz who will bequeath unto Aston Martin a 5.2-litre twin-turbo, 715bhp V12. Of course, Aston Martin wants to milk the situation for as long as possible.
So they released a YouTube video, sound only, of the V12 starting up and revving. The full official reveal will be another press release away.
