Nico Rosberg, Ferrari F40, driven. Yes that’s right folks, it is indeed Nico Rosberg, Ferrari F40, and Monaco. The former F1 champ get’s behind the wheel of what is the B-of-the-bang of the modern-day supercar. There would be no hypercars, no Bugatti Veyrons etc. Well, the Veyron would have happened, eventually.

Nevertheless, everything has a beginning be it human evolution or the evolution of the toaster. And the F40 has a special place in supercar folklore. It was the last car officially signed off by Enzo Ferrari, Mr. Ferrari ergo the founder of Ferarri.

Enzo Ferrari’s F40 brief was to make the fastest car of all time, because that’s what you do if you are the founder of Ferrari. While the F40 has been superceeded, it is still a fast car in today’s money.

However, the F40 is simple and lacks the advanced technology when compared to a modern-day supercar. And that is one reason why it is probably the purist, rawest supercar Ferrari ever made.

Above all, the 1990s lines still look great to this day.
