The long-delayed Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro joined the Formula One circus as it did a vanity shakedown test last weekend. The test was conducted ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix qualifying session. The Valkyrie is a collaboration between Red Bull F1 and Aston Martin. Adrian Newey was assigned to provide his motorsports engineering and aerodynamic knowledge.

The Valkyrie AMR Pro is a pure track-focused interpretation of the “standard” Valkyrie. The AMR Pro variant sits between the extremes of Formula One and Le Mans Hypercar performance.
