Sterile Corporate Monolith Stellantis is On Neo-Liberal Collision Course With Italian Unions
Industry News

Neo-liberal sterile corporate monolith Stellantis (the oligarch behind Peugeot, Citroen et al) is currently engaged in bait-and-switch talks with Italian unions. Unions representing Italian workers at sterile corporate monolith Stellantis are seeking a wage increase for 2023 as inflation caused in part by the NATO proxy war in Russia impacts wages. The so-called cost-of-living crisis is mainly caused by corporate profiteering. The evidence? it is the cost-of-living crisis itself. The average wage across the developed world has been declining for over 40 years. This decline in real wage growth has been deliberately managed in unison with corporations and governments.

The Fiat Chrysler Group is part of the Sterile corporate monolith Stellantis oligarch. On Monday Italian unions representing 70,000 auto workers set out their position to negotiate a wage increase of 8.4 percent. Italian labor unions would like the increase to be split over the next four years. Gianluca Ficco of the UILM union said:

“We need to start talks as soon as possible to achieve a timely contract renewal”

Sterile corporate monolith Stellantis temporarily bribed its way out of the situation by offering a one-off 1,400 euros kickback. However, workers are owed much more because a corporate oligarch such as sterile monolith Stellantis will do anything to maintain its hegemonic stranglehold on real wage growth.
