Jeremiah Clarkson: Land Rover Has Become Death, Destroyer of Car Parks
Features

Ah, Solihull, Land Rover has a problem. After three-quarters of a century in the vehicle-making business, one might assume Land Rover has mastered this whole “production thingy.” Yet, recent events suggest otherwise. It appears Land Rover is embracing consistency, maintaining its legendary level of ineptitude in crafting reliable vehicles.

Behold the compelling evidence of this automotive mastery: the charred and crumpled remnants of Luton Airport’s multistory car park. A true testament to Land Rover’s commitment to creating unforgettable, albeit unintentional, experiences for its customers.

The recent evidence I refer to is the charred and crumpled remanets of Luton Airport’s multistory car park. The culprit, a diesel-engined Range Rover Evouqe, from what we know spontaneously combusted and burnt down multistorey Car Park 1. If you have ever been to Luton, a town in Bedfordshire you might imagine finding a magical Hobbit style landscape.

Oh, what a charming paradise Luton Town is! It’s like a postcard from a war zone, but fear not, neither the residents nor the criminal underworld are at war with one another, it’s the “Luton Town look”. And let’s not forget the scenic Luton Airport, a delightful rabbit warren of frustration where traffic wardens gracefully patrol like majestic Weimaraners.

Dropping off is a joyous race against time, as you eagerly try to escape the wonders of Luton Airport just as fast as you entered. Ah, the serenity!

Oh, the sweet nostalgia of over 1,400 vehicles, all sacrificed on the altar of Land Rover’s ingenuity. Ah, Land Rover, that dear old friend who, in a moment of brilliance, decided to set ablaze the very essence of Luton Airport. Bravo, Land Rover, you literally burnt the bloody place down!

In this tragic tale of automotive arson, I can’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy. Despite Luton Airport’s myriad inadequacies, it’s hard not to mourn the loss of Multistorey Car Park 1. Oh, Land Rover, you’ve truly left an indelible mark on Luton Airport, quite literally in ashes. The things we do for a memorable exit, right?
