The 5th generation Audi A4 entered production in 2015, and for the past three years, a new 6th generation has been in the final stages of development. Numerous camouflaged test prototypes have been observed by eagle road warriors. As the launch window for the 6th generation A4 nears, production-ready test vehicles have finally emerged, still concealed under obligatory camouflage.

Upon its release in 2025, the entirely revamped A4 will be rebranded as the A5. It will continue to offer both saloon and estate variants, featuring Audi’s current 4-cylinder powertrains, including petrol and diesel mild hybrids, as well as PHEVs. The likelihood of a pure electric variant remains highly doubtful.

The renders, crafted by Kolesa, are based on the latest spy photos. Despite the term “spy,” the new A5 has been frequently sighted testing throughout Europe with minimal camo coverage. Consequently, this most recent render is deemed to be 99-percent accurate.

The design language of the new A5 Avant appears to be an evolutionary step, with the clamshell bonnet notably deviating from the design of all previous A4 models. More information will be unveiled when Audi officially reveals the all-new A5 in mid-2024.
