Last week, a cache of WhatsApp messages leaked online from an anonymous source, purportedly between Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner and the female employee in question.
Christian “Coco Pops” Horner dismissed the WhatsApp leak, stating, “I am not going to comment on anonymous speculation from unknown sources.” However, his failure to assert the messages’ falseness implies their authenticity. While I have reviewed the messages, whether real or not, they portray the female Red Bull employee as Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner’s personal assistant.
The messages appear mundane, occasionally suggestive. In one exchange, late at night, the PA mentions enjoying a bowl of Coco Pops before bedtime, prompting Horner to attempt a call, which she declines. Similar instances recur throughout the messages.
If genuine, these messages illustrate a level of infatuation from Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner towards his PA. Though mostly courteous, often flirtatious and sometimes suggestive, the messages date back around 2-3 years, suggesting a relationship that eventually soured, culminating in the PA submitting a complaint regarding Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner’s conduct.
Red Bull Cover-Up?
Red Bull conducted an inquiry and absolved Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner of any wrongdoing. However, it appears that there may be additional layers to this narrative, as evidenced by Toto Wolff’s call for a fair and transparent inquiry by Red Bull. It can be inferred that Wolff possesses further insights into the situation at Red Bull, as rumours tend to spread rapidly within the close-knit community of the F1 paddock.
Jos Verstappen Calls For Horner To Quit
Last week, Jos Verstappen, the father of Max Verstappen, explosively expressed concerns about the situation at Red Bull, stating, “The team is in danger of being torn apart. It cannot continue like this. It will explode. He is playing the victim, when he is the one causing the problems.”
From Jos Verstappen’s perspective, there is considerable discontent within Red Bull regarding the allegations against Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner.
Red Bull Suspend Complainant
In a recent update, as of today, the female Red Bull employee who lodged the complaint, believed to be Christian “Coco Pops” Horner’s personal assistant, has been suspended, further exacerbating the situation.

Clearly, Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner has triggered this entire debacle. Nevertheless, Red Bull has absolved him of any wrongdoing. However, further rumours are suggesting that the Red Bull CEO was poised to dismiss Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner before legal intervention halted such actions.
This saga is bound to continue for another couple of months. My prediction is that another batch of WhatsApp messages will surface, portraying Mr. “Coco Pops” Horner in a very unfavourable light, ultimately leading to his resignation.
