Chevrolet Silverado EV RST Achieves A Real-World Range of Over 400 Miles
Video

The primary concern when owning a current-generation electric vehicle is the real-world range. Manufacturer range estimates rely on lab-based data, which is easily manipulated for marketing purposes, as we know. The bottom line is, never believe what a car manufacturer says, always read the small print.

However, it appears that Chevrolet has broken the elusive 400-mile barrier for its EV RST Pickup Truck. Achieving this milestone requires an immense 200kWh battery pack, enough to power a sizable 5-bedroom house for one week.

Yet, this immense battery pack comes with one significant drawback: weight. The Silverado EV RST weighs over 3.5 tons. Nevertheless, Chevrolet invited the YouTube channel What’s Inside Family to experience a world-first drive of their new EV pickup.

So, how much real-world range did the Silverado EV RST yield? Watch the video to find out.
