Honestly, I wouldn’t buy one; ingress and egress for rear passengers are difficult, to say the least. You have to be a contortionist to sit comfortably in the back of a Mini Five Door. Despite the latest generation being bigger, the issue of ingress and egress has not improved.

You’re better off buying the three-door Mini. Anyways, the Mini Five Door shares its engine range and model trims with the three-door variant. You have two engine options: a 154bhp three-cylinder and a 204bhp four-cylinder, along with reasonable equipment levels.
