Voting Conservative: The New BMW X3 Design Language
Auto News

Do you know which mid-sized SUV is at the top of my list right now? The Volvo XC60, black, with tinted windows all around. It’s such a cool-looking vehicle. I don’t want a BMW X3, and I don’t want a Mercedes GLC. Even the new fourth-generation BMW X3 doesn’t appeal to me. I’ll stick with the Volvo XC60, thanks. Nonetheless, the new BMW X3 is a departure from BMW’s gut-punch styling and adopts a rather conservative approach, with an almost classical design language.

I think BMW wanted to play it safe. However, whatever design language BMW introduces, boundless sales are a certainty. People simply want a BMW badge on their driveway. For most, a BMW is a hallmark of personal success and a sign of quality, even though its reliability is no match for a Honda or Toyota.

How strange it is that people don’t prioritize vehicle reliability; the demand for premium-class vehicles will always outweigh the realities of owning and running a car. That is why we have always promoted BMW as a premium luxury rubbish brand due to poor reliability. But that’s just my opinion. Now, let me highlight the features of the new BMW X3.

Firstly, the new X3 is slightly wider and longer than its predecessor. It showcases the latest interpretation of the double kidney grille, featuring contour LED lighting, as well as a new L-shaped LED headlight design.
