You know what? I’m not interested in a Ferrari Purosangue, a Lamborghini Urus, a Bentley Bentayga, or any BMW or Mercedes SUV. I want something discreet, something classy that goes largely unnoticed yet is quietly stylish. And guess what? That SUV is the Volvo XC90—it’s all the SUV I’ll ever need. Let me clarify: we’re currently at odds with Volvo UK, so this isn’t a biased opinion.
We have vanquished our previous enemy Jaguar Land Rover, but that’s a different story—a story of attrition, a war that we at DCB won, as Jaguar now exists only as a brand clinging to a future that may never come. Anyway, I digress, this paragraph should not have been approved for publishing.
Anyway, the Volvo XC90 recently received an exterior and interior upgrade, and embattled Volvo has now revealed its UK pricing. I am not going to mess around here is a snapshot of what you need to know.
The updated Volvo XC90 features new frontal styling elements. Across the range, Volvo has introduced upgraded equipment specifications for all three model grades: Core, Plus, and Ultra. Notably, all versions now feature an 11.2-inch touchscreen for an upgraded in-car experience.
The XC90 offers a choice between two powertrains: a petrol-electric plug-in hybrid and a mild-hybrid petrol. Pricing begins at £63,790 for the B5 mild-hybrid models and at £72,650 for the T8 plug-in hybrid variants.
Available for order now, the first customer deliveries are anticipated in early 2025. Additionally, the EX30 range benefits from a wireless Apple CarPlay feature, introduced via an over-the-air update.
