Aston Martin Unveils New DBX S: The Ultimate Flagship Performance SUV
Auto News

When I read the press release for the new Aston Martin DBX S, I was astounded. Aston Martin proudly touted the carbon fibre roof, claiming it lowers the centre of gravity. But let’s be honest—a high-riding SUV will always have a high centre of gravity, and a carbon fibre roof isn’t going to change that in any meaningful way. It’s just a roof made of carbon fibre—a talking point. And if you genuinely believe it offers a significant improvement, I’m prepared to believe the Earth is flat.

Anyway, the Aston Martin DBX S—where the ‘S’ stands for a special high-performance version of the current model. But wait a second—doesn’t every model that rolls off the Aston Martin production line already qualify as high-performance and special? We’re not talking shitty Renault Clio levels of “special performance” here. This is Aston Martin. The Aston Martin.

The DBX S, More Luxury, More Power, Little Compromise

The DBX S, the latest and most powerful evolution of its performance SUV. Positioned as the new flagship in the DBX lineup, the DBX S brings increased performance, reduced weight, and exterior and interior design changes.
