At the 2025 New York International Auto Show, Subaru unveiled two new electric vehicles: the updated 2026 Subaru Solterra and the all-new Subaru Trailseeker.

2026 Subaru Solterra features major upgrades in driving performance, battery efficiency, and cabin comfort. It offers over 25% more range than the previous model due to a battery preconditioning system and a new high-capacity lithium-ion battery. It can charge from 10% to 80% in under 35 minutes, even in cold weather. Design updates include a new lighting signature, revised front and rear styling, and redesigned wheels. It launches in the UK in early 2026.

Tales of The Unexpected: All New Trailseek EV

The Subaru Trailseeker debuts with a modern EV platform. The Trailseeker is an all-electric alternative to the Outback and includes Subaru’s full suite of EyeSight safety features and off-road functionality via X-MODE. The Trailseeker is expected to arrive in the UK in mid-2026, though its regional name may differ.

Both EVs come with 14-inch multimedia touchscreens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wireless smartphone charging and USB-C ports.

And of course both car will be equipped with Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, 210mm ground clearance, and advanced off-road features
