Chery has launched its first seven-seat SUV for the UK market, the CHERY TIGGO 8, with prices starting from £28,545 OTR. Available in two trims – Aspire and Summit – and two powertrains (a 1.6L turbo petrol and a plug-in hybrid), the TIGGO 8 offers strong performance, high specifications, and impressive value.
The plug-in hybrid version boasts a 745-mile WLTP range, 56 miles of electric-only driving, and CO₂ emissions of just 31 g/km, making it tax-efficient.
The SUV features a 5+2 seating layout, up to 1,930 litres of cargo space, and extensive tech, including a 15.6-inch display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 540° camera, and multiple driver assistance systems.
Summit trim adds luxury features such as a panoramic sunroof, 12-speaker Sony audio, massage seats, and a head-up display. All models come with a 7-year/100,000-mile warranty, and the hybrid includes an 8-year battery warranty.
Customer deliveries begin 1 September, with pre-orders now open.
