The all-new smart #5 has launched in the UK, marking the brand’s first premium mid-size all-electric SUV with prices starting at £39,800. Built on an advanced 800-volt platform, the #5 delivers long range, fast charging, and current-gen digital technology, including intelligent driver assistance, a human-machine interface powered by an AMD V2000 chipset, and immersive Sennheiser audio.

The lineup includes multiple variants: the entry-level Pro with a 76 kWh battery, Pro+ and Premium with 100 kWh batteries, the AWD Pulse with dual-motor capability for off-road driving, and the high-performance BRABUS version with up to 475 kW power and 0–62 mph acceleration in 3.8 seconds.

Design highlights include a panoramic halo roof, frameless doors, short overhangs, flexible interior layouts with 34 storage compartments, and premium finishes.

The #5 is engineered for versatility, comfort, and safety, featuring a steel-aluminium hybrid body, advanced airbags, and ADAS technologies such as Pilot Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Highway Assist.
