Volkswagen will end production of the Touareg combustion engine model for UK customers in 2027. To mark this, the company is introducing the Touareg FINAL EDITION. Availability, pricing, and specifications for the UK version will be confirmed in due course.

Since its launch in 2002, the Touareg has offered a combination of comfort, technology, and off-road capability. Volkswagen first entered the premium segment with the Touareg and the Phaeton saloon 23 years ago.

The special-edition model includes distinctive design features. FINAL EDITION lettering is laser-engraved on the rear door window surrounds and embossed on the gear lever. Multi-colour ambient lighting is standard on the Black Edition line and above, and the label also appears on the illuminated dash panel trim and sill panel mouldings.

The Touareg has been part of Volkswagen’s portfolio for over 20 years, providing a range of dimensions, equipment, and technologies. Its design has remained understated, and its interior has consistently offered quality materials, comfort, and technical features. Some innovations introduced in the Touareg have later been included in smaller Volkswagen models.

The Touareg is available in 39 countries, with more than 1.2 million units sold to date, including significant sales in Europe and Germany.
