Carwow’s Mat Watson reviews the new Audi Q3, and it isn’t a great start. Watson describes the exterior design as somewhat “Chinese-looking.” It’s worth noting that many major Chinese automakers employ European car designers, so it’s unclear exactly what Watson means by that comment.
What really irritates Watson, however, is the price. This particular Q3 comes fully specced at £58,000. A few years ago, that would have put it in Mercedes S-Class territory, but with inflation rampant across Europe, Audi remains at best a premium brand—except for the A8.
Watson also questions Audi’s interior quality, which has declined in recent years. He wants to know whether the Q3 lives up to the high standards typically expected of the brand.
