KGM’s Musso EV Is The Electric Pickup That Costs Less Than Your Coffee Habit In Tax
Auto News

KGM Motors UK is rocking up to the Commercial Vehicle Show (21–23 April 2026, NEC Birmingham) with something rather interesting: the Musso EV. Yes, an electric pick-up. And not one of those “looks tough but cries at a muddy puddle” efforts—this one actually means business.

It’s Korea’s first fully electric pick-up, and on paper it’s doing a convincing impression of a proper workhorse. You get up to 240 miles of range from an 80.6kWh battery, fast charging that’ll take it from 20 to 80 percent in just over half an hour, and enough muscle to haul 2.3 tonnes while carrying nearly 700kg in the back. Not bad for something that doesn’t even make a noise.

Better still, the government will knock £5,000 off the price, bringing it down to just under £40k, and the tax man barely notices it—just £30 a month in BIK. Which means your accountant might actually smile for once.

Not ready to plug in? Fine. KGM’s also bringing along the diesel Musso Saracen and the Rexton Commercial—big, burly things that tow, lug, and generally get on with it without needing a charging cable.

Orders for the Musso EV are open now, with demo models landing in May. So if you’ve ever wanted a pick-up that can save the planet while dragging a trailer up a hill, this might be your moment.
