2026 Miami Grand Prix Race Report - Kimi Antonelli Wins
Littl-Duce: Kimi Antonelli Triumphs in Dramatic Miami Grand Prix
Formula One

Kimi Antonelli delivered a standout performance to win an action-packed Miami Grand Prix, holding off sustained pressure from Lando Norris to secure his third consecutive victory of the season. The Miami Grand Prix began chaotically, with Antonelli battling Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc into Turn 1, where both Antonelli and Verstappen locked up. Contact between Verstappen and Leclerc sent Verstappen spinning down the order.

The race featured multiple lead changes, with Antonelli, Leclerc, Norris, Oscar Piastri and Verstappen all taking turns at the front. Early incidents involving Isack Hadjar and Pierre Gasly triggered a Safety Car, adding to the unpredictability.

As the race settled, it became a duel between Antonelli and Norris. Despite Norris staying within striking distance, Antonelli remained composed to take victory, becoming the first driver in Formula 1 history to convert his first three pole positions into wins.

Norris finished second, 3.264 seconds behind, while Piastri claimed third after overtaking Leclerc in a frantic closing phase. Leclerc slipped to sixth after a late spin and being passed by George Russell and Verstappen.

Further down the order, Lewis Hamilton finished seventh, Franco Colapinto took eighth for Alpine, and Williams secured a double points finish with Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon in ninth and tenth. Four drivers retired, including Hadjar, Gasly, Liam Lawson and Nico Hülkenberg.
