2026 British Grand Prix - Williams reveals special race livery
Williams Racing Unveils Union Jack-inspired Livery For British Grand Prix
Formula One

Williams Racing has unveiled a one-off Union Jack-inspired livery and special edition team kit to celebrate the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone Circuit.

The design features red, white, and blue accents across the car and will be worn as special race suits by drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz, with team members also wearing a matching takeover kit created with partner New Era.

The celebration marks a broader home-race activation campaign for the team, which is based in Grove, Oxfordshire and is one of the most historic names in Formula One.

Now in its 49th year, Williams highlights its deep British heritage, including major milestones such as its first win in 1979 and its 100th Grand Prix victory in 1997, both achieved at or strongly linked to iconic moments at the Silverstone Circuit.

Team Principal James Vowles emphasised the importance of the British Grand Prix atmosphere and the connection between the team and its home fans.

The campaign also includes fan events and show car tours across UK cities such as London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Cardiff, along with fan zones featuring appearances from figures including former world champion Damon Hill.

The initiative combines branding, heritage storytelling, and fan engagement as Williams aims to celebrate its legacy while strengthening its presence during one of the most significant weekends on the Formula 1 calendar.
