Lotus has updated its Emira sports car lineup, introducing the high-performance Emira Turbo SE alongside the existing Emira V6. The Lotus Emira Turbo SE features a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four engine from AMG, delivering 400 bhp (+40 bhp) and 480 Nm of torque (+50 Nm). With an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), it achieves 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph).

The Turbo SE name pays homage to Lotus’s legacy, referencing the 1980 Turbo Esprit and the historic ‘SE’ designation for high-performance, enhanced equipment models.

It comes with the Lotus Drivers Pack as standard, featuring sports suspension, launch control, and upgraded cross-drilled ventilated brakes. Design highlights include 20” Satin Grey V-spoke forged wheels, Zinc Grey paint, red brake calipers, black Lotus badging, and ‘Emira Turbo SE’ branding. Pricing starts at £89,500.

The Emira V6 remains available, powered by a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine producing 400 bhp, paired with a six-speed manual or optional six-speed automatic transmission. It includes Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tyres, ventilated brake discs, and a limited-slip differential (LSD) for manual models. The Emira V6 starts at £92,500.
