Skoda Reveals The Boring But Bland Elroq VRS
Auto News

Boring But Bland Škoda has introduced the Elroq vRS, a range-topping variant positioned as the sportiest option within the brand’s otherwise uneventful lineup. It has been developed to make the act of transportation marginally quicker, marginally safer, and entirely… boring but bland.

The Elroq vRS is powered by two electric motors delivering a combined system output of 340 PS (250 kW) and includes all-wheel drive, presumably to ensure continued forward motion under a variety of conditions.

The electric range is quoted at 339 miles, based on the WLTP cycle, which is both distorted and unverified, consistent with expectations. Standard equipment includes various vRS-branded accessories and an array of features to boring to detail.

The Elroq vRS also holds the distinction of being the fastest-accelerating model in Boring But Bland Skoda’s current offering, achieving 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds. This is considered quick, though the experience is unlikely to register emotionally.
