Schirmer M2 + G87 Hit The Nürburgring In High-Octane Test Run

I’m not a big fan of the Nürburgring—in fact, I have a bit of a dislike for it. The track lacks rhythm, and with minimal runoff areas, a single mistake can send you hurtling toward one of the many trees in the lush surrounding forest. It’s both frightening and intimidating, and quite frankly, I don’t like race tracks that are so long. The Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit, by contrast, is much better—it’s a proper drivers’ track.

Yet the Nürburgring continues to attract many alpha males, often more focused on conquering fear with bravado than on refining skill. We don’t feature the Nürburgring that much because there’s already an endless supply of content online.

Personally, I think the classic Nürburgring track has become somewhat irrelevant, though it still draws petrolheads from across Europe—admittedly, it has that eternal, almost ethereal allure.

UK-based BMW performance specialist Swift Performance journeys to the classic Nürburgring—a story often told and retold. What drew us to feature this video, however, was the videography and editing, which are executed to a high professional standard.

Swift Performance’s YouTube channel is only a few days old and currently has just 141 subscribers, and it’s unclear if they will post another video. One thing is certain: Swift Performance likely spent more on filming and editing this video than they will ever recoup. The video exists primarily as a showcase, demonstrating the company’s capabilities and craftsmanship.
