The fallout from the new Ferrari Luce EV launch continues, with MKBHD revealing his experience after being invited to attend the car’s unveiling in Italy. The tech YouTuber said Ferrari denied him permission to film using his own camera equipment.
Instead, Ferrari tightly controlled the recording process and provided him with a DJI Osmo camera. According to MKBHD, the reason was straightforward: to control the narrative surrounding the launch. As a result, he later uploaded what many viewed as a relatively neutral review.
However, a few days later, away from the restrictions of the launch event and speaking freely on his Waveform podcast, MKBHD offered a more considered and candid assessment of the car.
