A new entrant to the UK automotive market, LEPAS, has announced full pricing and specifications for its L8 premium D-segment SUV ahead of its launch in July.
The L8 will serve as the brand’s debut model in the UK and is designed specifically for European and British tastes. It will be offered in two trims: Essence and Elevate. Essence is aimed at providing a comprehensive standard specification, while Elevate adds additional luxury and technology features.
Prices start at £34,900 for the L8 PHEV Essence, rising to £37,900 for the Elevate version.
Both models are powered by LEPAS’s “Super Hybrid” system, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and an 18.4kWh battery.

The system supports DC fast charging and delivers a claimed total range of up to 745 miles, with up to 56 miles of electric-only driving. CO₂ emissions are listed at 21g/km, allowing exemption from London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone charge. A fully electric version is planned for 2027.
Styling is heavily themed around a leopard-inspired design language, with features such as a “Diamond Mesh” grille and “Leopard’s Eye” lighting signature. Essence models ride on 19-inch wheels, while Elevate variants use 20-inch alloys and add features such as acoustic front glass and noise cancellation for a quieter cabin.

Inside, the L8 offers a large interior space thanks to a 2,800mm wheelbase, with rear legroom approaching one metre. Both trims include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and remote pre-conditioning.
Elevate trim adds powered front seats with heating, ventilation and massage functions, a powered tailgate, ambient lighting and fragrance diffusion.

Safety equipment is shared across both trims, including autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and up to 10 airbags. Elevate adds enhanced parking technology, including a 540-degree camera system and remote parking capability.
Infotainment features include a 13.2-inch touchscreen, AI voice control, smartphone integration and wireless charging. Elevate models upgrade the audio system to an 8-speaker Sony setup.
The L8 will open for pre-orders in July, arrive in dealerships in September, and be followed by a fully electric version in 2027.
