The Porsche 911 Turb0 S GB Edition is basically a series of styling upgrades, doffing its cap to the first 911 Turbo from 1974, this includes 20-inch Sport Classic alloys, wing mirrors, rear privacy glass and door handles all finished in gloss black. Completing the exterior look are 911 logo/go faster stripes. The interior also gets a few special edition treats, the highlight being the Union Flag embossed on the central storage compartment lid.
Underpinning all this is the 911 Turbo S’ 553bhp and 700Nm tourque, 3.8-litre six-cylinder twin-turbo engine. Power is distributed to all four wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, that means a 0-62mph time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 197mph.
Price, £150,237, on sale now at a UK dealership near you but not in anti-England Scotland. “GOD SAVE OUR GRACIOUS QUEEN, LA-DEE DA, DA, DA, DEE, GOD SAVE OUR QUEEN…”
