Volvo V90 Estate Leaked Ahead of Debut

With the new look Volvo V90 saloon already in the public domain before its official reveal the same fate has happened to the estate. Form does follow function as much as it is inevitable that the sky will not fall on our heads. And  It seems a disgruntled Volvo employee wants the world to see what Volvo were hoping you would see at the official public reveal at the Geneva Motorshow in March. The V90 will replace the V70 and with it will in many ways complete a new styling direction for the Swedish marque. The design language flows from the XC90 and the interior also follows the XC90’s benchmark quality for being significantly more luxurious. Volvo-V90-Estate-Interior The engine line up will consist of four cylinder diesel and petrol turbo units and expect a T8 Plug-in hybrid to be shoe-horned into the engine line-up. This petrol electric engine has a reputed power output of  394bhp and Volvo claims a combined economy of 134mpg and CO2 emissions of 49g/km. Volvo-V90-Estate-Front Volvo is offering its next generation saloon and estate car in a market that is rapidly adopting compact/mid-sized SUV’s. In addition Volvo also faces stiff competition from premium players who have dominated the mid-sized saloon and estate market, such as the BMW 5 Series and the next generation Mercedes E Class.  Volvo-V90-Estate-Profile
