Ferrari will build a special edition F12 model which will be limited to 10 models, each one will cost $3.2 million dollars (2.3m euros) , and will be sold exclusively in the U.S. market only. Each special edition F12 will be painted in blue and white stripes the same colors used by Ferrari when it raced under the North American Racing Team banner in the 1960’s and 1980’s. The model will be officially revealed on October 12th at a special gala dinner in Los Angeles to mark 60 years of Ferrari in the U.S. market. The specific details about this special edition F12 are thin on the ground but its expected to feature a modified version of the current 740-bhp V12 powerplant. The interior will also be spruced up and a specific coach built exterior is expected to mark this F12 as a stand out model. The F12 Special Edition will be the last model to be personally signed off and launched by the out going Ferrari Chairman, Luca Di Montezemolo.
