Peugeot 308 GT Line Causes Naming Convention Headache
Auto News
Peugeot have introduced a new trim line for the 308 especially for those hard pressed motorists counting the pennies but not wanting the ownership costs of a hot hatch. The 308 GT Line has the looks of the 308 GT hot hatch but without the price tag and performance to match, this is where it gets a bit confusing. The GT Line essentially supersedes the Feline trim level, sits above the Allure spec and is available in all bodystyles with five different petrol and diesel engines to choose from. The 308 GT Line rides on 18-inch “Diamant” alloy wheels has tinted rear-side windows, a twin exhaust and a rear diffuser. The interior is bestowed with a leather GT steering wheel and contrast red stitching and, half Alcantara seats, again with the red stitching, GT carpets which are among the key highlights. Prices start at £21,345 on the road. A special edition trim level is also introduced, the 308 Sportium is based on the Access trim and is available the 3 door body-style only. Standard equipment includes including DAB digital radio, air-conditioning and cruise control with a speed limiter. In addition, standard kit includes 16-inch ‘Diamond’ alloy wheels, driver’s lumbar support, rear parking sensors, leather steering wheel, leather gearstick gaiter, plus automatic headlamps and wipers. The 308 Sportium is only available with the 1.2 litre- 3-cylinder petrol engine in either 110 or 130bhp outputs (its the same engine Mini use). The 308 Sportium comes with a choice of either a six speed manual or automatic transmission. Prices in the UK start at £17k Actually it wasn’t that difficult.  Peugeot-308-GT-Line
